Eastern bound

First of all, congratulations to Jess for graduating this weekend! You rock!! I have the greatest rommie ever.

This time next week, I will be in Shelby, NC preparing to go to India. (The group is meeting up there and traveling to Charlotte, where we fly out, on Sunday.) I cannot believe it is so close. I am so excited! It is hard to believe it is in a week, which is not any time at all, yet so many things must happen between now and then! For example, I must finish school to name one. Oh, and pack :-). Nevertheless, I am excited to meet the people I will be serving with, and see how the Lord brought them on this journey, to see where passion lies with them and visions for the nations. I am excited to meet smiling Indian faces, and fall in love all over again. I think the team will have to drag me onto the plane! But, I am okay with that. . .

To randomly shift gears - I have realized this week more than ever that I am so blessed with so many good friends. I have had countless amazing conversations, with people of wisdom and truth far beyond what I can comprehend. So, to Mom, Jess, Amber, Wayne, Dad, Britt, Angel, Mel, Kerri, and Amanda to name just a few - i love you, and I am SO greatful for you. Thank you for offering the best advice in the world, for showing me love and grace. I cannot imagine this journey without you.
